I'm looking for a piece of software to allow a mobile user (PDA and/or laptop and/or tablet) to automatically connect using a prioritized list of available connections that include cell, 802.11, wired network. Ideally, the software would also communicate to an application what method was being utilized so the app can manage the amount of data flow based on cost.

Anyone heard of such an animal?
