Congratulations @michaelmurfy.  Has this promotion exceeded your Wildest Dreams?  Has there perhaps been a bit of bromance Love Story going on behind the scenes that we don't know about?

With your new responsibility, I would recommend you just Breathe before you Speak Now and things get any Crazier around here.

I really hope you are going into this with your Eyes Open.  If the responsibility becomes too much and you are getting bogged down, just Shake It Off to get yourself Out Of The Woods.  I'm sure it won't leave any Bad Blood if you let @freitasm know that you want to go Back To December.  That decision may leave a Blank Space in your life, and @freitasm may see Red and throw his toys out of the cot, and perhaps even shout I Knew You Were Trouble.  He may even declare that We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together now that Everything Has Changed.

Over time he'll almost certainly apologise for being so Mean and ask to Begin Again.  Just accept the apology with Style, mate, and just know All Too Well that this is just a part of the The Story Of Us.
