Just realised I'm not seeing any ads at all on GZ, and would expect to. ABP with GZ whitelisted. ABP says zero ads blocked on every GZ page, but none are being displayed at all.

@freitasm - any ideas? Don't want to impact your revenue...

Also, looking at your recent records, it shows that your browser is blocking ads... Interesting you say it's whitelisted though.

Resolved I think. Seems to be the Firefox tracking protection tick box, nothing to do with ABP.

Hi I am using Chrome with Adblock Plus, and have always had it disabled for geekzone, but I still get your notice at the top of the page about it.

I have now disabled Adblock Plus and all other Chrome extensions, and when I revisit geekzone I still get your notice.

I am seeing ads, but whatever you use to detect ad blocking is not reporting the true state back to you.

Thanks... You can clear all Geekzone cookies and reload to see if it goes away, please?

I removed geekzone cookies and restarted, I still get the banner about the ad blocker.

I also have the "DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials" plugin, but disabling that makes no difference either.

Its' not a problem for me, as long as your ad displays and clicks are being acknowledged correctly.

(It's good to see local businesses included in the ads too)

[edit]

oops, my mistake;  it is "DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials", just realized it is blocking a number of ads too.  Didn't realize that was what it does.

Found it's whitelist settings, will see if this works.

I have also had this problem, despite white listing the site. The firefox tracking protection is the issue, however I dont want to disable this for everywhere, but found that you can whitelist specific sites here too.

Just click on the ⓘ icon in the URL bar. See image for example.
