I'm using Opera 9.5 web browser.
This is my second attempt to submit a comment. As the textual layout is a bit hard to follow.
I guess if I can't submit a comment using Opera then my attempts are futile. Sort of like a failsafe.
I suspect Geekzone would prefer I stuck to Microsoft approved browsers. Maybe IE7 *sigh* :-)
Hay, what about a W3C makover for Geekzone.
Approx. 3% (and increasing) of your clients would really thank you.
So.... I guess that's not going to fly... pity though.
Update:
I see Geekzone admins have genuinely attempted to address Opera issues in the past which is commendable.
So I'll attempt to address the issues without my tongue in cheek.
I note some of the IMG tags have source URI which use Microsoft directory structures instead of the 'standard' W3C directory structure.
i.e. src="\src\src\img.gif" where is should be src="/src/src/img.gif"
I am using Opera 9.52 on WinXP User-Agent: Opera/9.52 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) as noted in Opera about.
As I see the Geekzone web site there are no images displayed on the page.
This may be corrected by identifying the Opera browser in IE compatibility mode.
However this should not be seen as a fix for poor coding.
I can supply any information you might like right down to declared Doctypes and not using language=javascript1.1 attributes.
By installing a default Opera 9.52 on winXP you may see a similar layout as that I am see.
Hope I'm helping and not hindering,
Tom

Opera 9.51 on WinXP. (also test on Opera 9.52 on winXP on another PC with same results)
