i cant seem to find the search button, tried ctr+f to search for search button, but no luck, any help?

which search button?  the one for geekzone website?  if so then its on the main menu bar to the right of the 'blogs' button and says google custom search in the searchbox..

That confused me the first time I came to geekzone too.  It's not very clear imo.

Needs an advance search I think so you can specify which forum you'd like the results from, should you need it.

The Search was on the sidebars for four years and people still asked "where". We then moved it to the top with all the menu options but people still ask "where".

Seriously folks - do you ever look at the menu to see what else we have on the site?

I think most people are just use to phpBB forum type searches etc.....

If I really want to search these forums, I jsut use the main Google site anyway, just include geekzone.co.nz in the search Smile

problem is because it says "google custom search" in the textbox.  To me its obvious, but to someone else it may not be at all..... are you forced to have it display that way, or could you perhaps make the button say "search geekzone" or "Search posts" and the google box say something like 'powered by google' instead?
