I think I have found a Geekzone bug. If I quote a post, but I get the quotes wrong, I am informed of the fact. But if I then correct the mistake and try again, Geekzone refuses to accept any input from me. I have to reload the page and do it over. I think this bug may also occur with other errors, but I have mainly encountered it with quote mistakes.

Works for me (TM).

Seriously though, what browser are you using?

The code's been there for years, to avoid double posting. As soon as you click "Post reply" it disables the button.

When go back some browsers (Chrome, Edge) will go back to the default enabled status for the button. Other browsers (Firefox) will keep the disabled status.

You have only noticed now.

It started becoming an issue for me awhile ago but I wasn't sure exactly what was going on. Today it happened again and I'm fairly sure (could be wrong, of course) that it happened the way I reported. I sometimes cut out some multiple quotes to avoid the too many quotes error but I forget to make sure the right number of quote and unquote markers are still present so I get that error instead. When I do, if I got back and correct the problem, I can no longer click on anything. I have to reload the page and do it all again. I use different browsers on different computers and am not sure if the error occurs on more than one. I usually use Comodo, but also Chrome.

Can confirm, only noticed today on GZ too (doesn't mean it wasn't always there) on Chrome. But I've seen similar behaviour lately on other sites, so putting it down to a Chrome issue.
