Occasionally get the following error pop up over the quick reply box, and can't use it. Page reload fixes it. Anyone else seen this?

I think it's something to do with using the back and forward buttons between pages, but can't reliably reproduce it.

For these kind of bug reports, your post is missing a lot of information.

  1. Browser and version
  2. Adblockers
  3. Privacy blockers
  4. Browser privacy settings

All these may block referer and obviously cause havoc.

I have updated the rich text editor TinyMCE to the just-announced version 7.

I have also made a small change to how the editor works. See if you can spot it.

The reply box is no longer a fixed height, so it grows as you enter text.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Can the width of the box be adjusted as well to match the screen resolution?

e.g. on mobile if you type it goes all the way to the edge of the screen and you can't easily get back to get the "post quick reply" button.

I just add an enter normally to get me back to the left...

It is a different thing. Possibly could.

Currently there is no text editor on mobile - although I did try and it works. So also wondering bringing it to mobile.

So it does! Perhaps I need to write longer posts ;-)
