"Single Page" links are 302 redirecting to /default.asp.

 

I was trying to view the full What movie did you just watch, and how was it? (expect some spoilers but try not to post any!) thread on a single page, so I can see if my recommendation has already been posted.

If the thread has more than 250 pages it will not load Single Page view, because it will crash your browser. So I redirect to the homepage.

I expected it to take a while to load, but I've not run into issues in the past.

Could you not put up an error saying thread is too long for a single page? Or put the first 250 pages on the first page, then have multiple other pages after that?

Can I put an intermediate error page? Sure.

 

Paginating long threads? This is more work. It can be done but I am not planning on anything before the new year now.
