there's alot of javasdcipt on this site, and i can't see how it improves the expierience

for instance
<input class=cmd type=button onclick="window.location='forums.asp?forumid=11&action=new_disc_topics'" value='New Topic'>

Why?

It only makes it ever so much harder to post from a PDA.

how about a
<noscipt><a href="forums.asp?forumid=11&action=new_disc_topics">New Topic</a></noscript>

Good point... I've changed lots in our scripts from the original software bought a couple of years ago. I can certainly change this.

The reason for the javascripts is probably to avoid forms in a comple page like the forums.asp script generates.

Groovy!!

any chance of a bit of colour???
the grey + blue is often hard to see in the pre-coffee morning stupor.

I've always turned off styles for this site, but i see a recent addition of little tabs on the news boxes on the front page - they look good and are easy to read.

but - otherwise - fresh new look would be nice.. baby blue is so 90s. :-)

I had to spend sometime on Geekmac (have you visited it yet?) first, then decided to do the tabs on Geekzone as well.

I will probably change colours here too. My days are going fast...

Is it 90s? I'm from the 60s, so the 80s were a groovy time for me. The 90s were more a settle down time...

i've always associated baby blue with shortland street for some reason
their sets used far too much of that colour.
