MF - how can this be made more user friendly?? You could scrowl through 900 pages of whatever (well done by the way!), but wondering if it could have a search feature on it - a list all people who are trusted, live in Hawkes Bay and are very tall........

Or maybe people with particular skills/interests??

Also, can we please have a big 'post a new forum item' button on the home page??? :-)

Also how do I hide my friends latest activities on the home page (when logged in)?

Mark

Just because it was predictable, doesn't mean you didn't eat too much KFC today.

Got the chicken grease out of your suit jacket yet?

Some good suggestions there...

Yes we can add a search - will do this soon. For the BIG POST BUTTON, how are people going to know which forum to post? Today they browse to a forum them post. Even so we still get lots of posts everyday completely in the wrong topic - Telecom discussions in the Geekzone forum, Broadband discussions in the OS forum, and so on.

If people can't even browse to the correct forum to post, I doubt they will bother selecting a forum from a dropdown list.

I know it sounds unbelievable, but not everyone posting here is actually a geek (and even so some geeks do this from time to time).

You can't hide your friends activities as it is now. I will add a profile option for that... But why would want to do that? The whole idea is to find other people who are like you are doing on the site...

OK - re the button, maybe it takes you to the browse list BUT once there the column headings are sortable so you can sort by most postings for example. Might help to pick the right category. Jeez another requirement!

Thanks for the response re the other points.

Somedays I do wonder how some people put pants on correctly, and how they know which shoe goes on which foot...

/end pointless rant.
