hi,

I would like to know if stagecoach buses will accept a $20 to pay for a fare? On their website they say "small" notes are accepted. Has anyone used a $20 note to pay say a 3 stage fare?

I once used a $10 note to pay for a $2 fare on a bus in Christchurch. The evil look that I received from the bus driver was traumatic enough that I would never do it again.

i use a $20 on wellington buses quite frequently
i think the drivers understand that's what atms give....
