We try to keep this a "family show" and make sure people follow the FUG. We don't need an army of moderatos to keep things running, but even though there are people with certain "powers" I see them as a way to get fresh ideas and feedback. Most of the features added to the site are done after consulting the moderators - which in this case act more like advisors than a police force.

Since you quoted Latin, think about the Roman Republic and the Senate of the Roman Republic. Think of me as a Consul and the moderators as Senators.

From time to time we need to "refresh" the people in our team and I go looking for people who have participated in the community to join the moderators team.
