How is the Timestamp on Forum Messages derived.
It seems to be 22 hours behind NZ Local time.
I would have thought being geekzone.co.nz it would be NZST or at least UTC?

Check the timezone you've got configured in _your_ profile. Timestamps look fine to me.

Thanks for that.
Must have missed it when setting up my profile.
Updated and now all OK except about 2 minutes out now.
Just updated PC clock from Internet too.

It picks up your timezone from your profile, not the time at-large. The time is based on the servers internal clock.

BlakJak: It picks up your timezone from your profile, not the time at-large. The time is based on the servers internal clock.


And all our servers are using the Internet NZ-supplied time servers at http://ntp.net.nz/
