Microsoft has now enabled ALL passport accounts to sign in without an invite.

Anyone can download and sign into the latest version (8.0.0566)

NO MORE INVITE REQUESTS!

Be aware that MSN addons like Messenger Plus do not work with the new Windows Live Messenger Beta (yet).
So if you have addons like that, you will potentially lose some features by upgrading. (Its nice though)

So after downloading from the link above and everything working fine yesterday, i find today that i can no longer sign in as "The passport ID used to sign in is not allowed access to this Beta version of Messenger"

grrr...

You now have to accept the beta terms of use before you can sign in

Step-by-step guide to use the beta:
1. Click here and click "I agree". Use IE only
2. Click the "Download now" button on the next page.
