We know a lot of users post in our forums and "tweak" their posts. Until now we were maintaining an "offline" archive, but from now all post changes are being recorded in our database to make this information available online as well.

Users can see the changes they make to their own posts. Moderators can also see those changes. Changed posts have a link to the page listing the edit history.

Nice, good work!

Is the edit history avaliable for past edits or only from when this new change was installed?

I've made a small change, now every logged in user will see the yellow notice when a post has been edited. Obviously only moderators and the post owner can see previous versions.

[I've edited this post to show an example]

I personally think that the yellow "This post has been edited." text needs a slight re-design. Not sure exactly how, however.

Yes, but I just wanted it to be visible. You'd be surprised how people miss lots of the things in front of them...

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Perhaps the marquee or blink tag can be used here :-)

maybe if it only affected one or two posts... but in some threads every other post appears to have been edited and the yellow becomes rather distracting.

EDIT: GIVE ME SOME BRIGHT YELLOW FLAGGING ON THIS POST PLEASE
