If the initiator of a thread chooses a smiley, then each reply inherits the same smiley, often with unintended consequences.
If the person replying does not notice the smiley, or cant be bothered changing it, their reply could construed the wrong way.

The emotion feature is a great way to show how you are saying something I agree with that (not that anyones actually said that yet) but for now LETS ALL FLAME TONY! of course abiding by the forum rules etc

Although i do agree with his comment. May i humbly suggest that when replying to a post that there be no default smiley?
