It seems every topic I watch on my ipad ends up on a watch topic list and I'm getting flooded with emails. The only way I can see is a unsubscribe from topic in email to stop emails coming in, but then I've got about 20 emails to go through and do this one by one, is there any way to do it globally, i.e. manage watch topic link with all currently watch topics on one page.

You can only do one by one. What you have to do is go to your profile and change the notification options.

Options are one email per reply, one email per hour, one email per day, one email only. If you visit the discussion the counter resets and you will receive another reply notification next time someone replies, following the cycle.

Also you should use rules to send notifications to a separate folder. This helps manage the volume of emails.

On another note, I wish people really really looked around the site. There are so many options and people still ask the same questions over and over...

I did look around, even one email per day is to much when somehow everything i look at is being put on watch list some how, if 20 different topics, it's still 20 emails a day.

The best option I could see is "one email per day per discussion", as said above some how (and i think it's only ipad viewing it's happening) every topic I read is going on watch list. One email per day per discussion is still heaps emails per day

I'd rather get 0 emails a day, also see there's auto subscribe to forums to, does hitting stop in email stop this or is there no way out.

There are three ways to watch a topic:

1.You reply to the topic and check the box to get notifications
2.You click the WATCH topic button
3.You click the AUTO WATCH forum button

We don't put anyone on any watch topic list based on topics you read.

You can change your profile to fill the watch topic box by default or not by checking the "Default option to receive forum replies".

Thank you for reply. Either there's a bug in ipad that makes it think auto watch etc pushed or got bumped some how. Hadn't replied to any discussions that getting emails from so not check box.

If keeps happening from topics viewed on ipad guess best solution just to not log in from it.

Mauricio. Slightly off the original post but still a GZ forum query. For any Thread is there a way for you to adjust the page counter display. When threads get long on the lead page we have the option of the first 11 pages plus the last one. When threads grow often you want to go back simply a page, to where you left off, and in fast moving threads maybe two.

It's great to be able to easily acess the start pages, to see the tne of the thread, but by being able to acess the end group is equally important. Is it possible to move the split to say page 6 and then show the last 6???

I will think of it when THIS thread gets to 50 pages so I can see exactly what you mean ;)

another related thing - when you edit a post to correct a typo, as I seem to have to do for most, the original saved values for Show Signature and Email Notifications are not shown, and are ticked by default again.  Would be nice if the original value could be retained when editing a post.

Cheers
