I have my 'include signature' option off by default.

If I create a post, and include the signature, and then edit the post, the edit form does not know that the original post contains a signature. I must remember to tick the include signature box manually.

Would be nice if the edit form knew about the original signature option of the post and ticked the include signature automatically in the edit form in this case.

Sometimes I forget :  ).

My signature doesn't seem to work regardless of what I do. Was working originally but hasn't for a few weeks :(

We now only show signatures after 500 posts (as explained next to the box where you enter your signature in the profile page).

This is to try and put some common sense into people who use ginormously huge images in their signatures.

Probably.  The 500 post limit was only recently introduced.
