Hi folks
I am currently with Ihug broadband 3 and have just signed up with Xnet HSI internet online. And I didnt see any "Interleave ON/OFF" option from the webpage. Is there anyway i can get my interleave switched off before my xnet connection goes live?

Not as yet, but we can turn it off after you've moved over, usually takes about 24-48 hours after the churn.

Hello wonderhow,

I would allow 3-5 working days, however having said that i have seen a churn ordered in the morning and be completed in the afternoon (was from xtra to us though).

For me it was within 2 days from not being an XNet customer and never had BB on my line to being up and running. You will have to add the time it takes for your current provider to acknowledge receiving the termination notice and doing their bit.

You can never have enough Volvos!

Thanks for the reply. Do I need to tell xnet about my ihug account rollover day of each month? It's 4th by the way but Ihug has told me if I am going to change ISP next month, my ihug account will have to be terminated before the end of this month otherwise I will need to pay for $49.95 (for the 01/03/08 - 03/03/08 connection with ihug). Please advice.

Xnet's billing cycle starts on the FIRST day of each Calendar Month, which is different from many other ISPs, and I think it's better, as it's easy to remember when to check your latest bill.

So, Xnet will neither need to know nor care about your iHUG billing date, but for your own sake, I would suggest getting things underway ASAP so you can get in ahead of that rollover date.

you need to ring them, let them know and they should have it done within 24 hours well they did for me may be a bit longer with all this fusion stuff going on cheers
