Hi All,

working best way around this, campus due to it's location will have 7 internet connections. For guests and staff to have reliable connection roaming between each site would have same SSID and passphrase, but each gateway has different DHCP so site 1 is 192.168.1.1 and site two is 192.168.3.1 and so on? any ideas?

your thoughts and suggestions?

They will be able to "roam" just fine if you keep SSID and psk the same across the board. But it's not going to do much apart from provide internet access.

You sure you don't need to look at a WAN solution? Either provided by the ISP or built your self with VPN's? Then you could have a "proper" network so all services are available campus wide.

hi there, that's all clients and guest are requiring, due to location 1 connection is not suffice so decision was to setup multiple connection and have clients and staff roaming between sites, sites overlap to a certain degree.

Do staff need to access any local resources on your main campus network? Or is everything in the "cloud"?

Doesnt work when I tried it, things will change AP they connect to and still have the old IP and gateway and then find that gateway isnt accessible, all connections are then failing etc till it times out its DHCP lease and then renews it. Or the person turns wifi off and on again.
