I am aware this issue has been covered before and yes I have read all the previous posts. This message is directed to maverick or one of the technical gurus at WXC.

My phone system does not have an option to either insert or remove leading zeros. and my issue is that the caller id is presented with 00 for local numbers and 000 for mobile / international numbers. I understand this is in accordance with the telepermit standard for caller line id presentation.

Im wondering if WXC / VFX have any control over this and if they can change my PAP2T so the numbers are presented correctly.

If it was possible to do this on the phone I would do it, but it isnt. I ahve a uniden dect phone and have six handsets so Id rather not have to go and buy new phones simply for a caller id issue, as in all other respects the phones work great.

Any assistance / advice greatly appreciated.

VFX has a connection in the Antarctic? Or at your home in NZ? Cool

Hi Marty,

Yes we can do something about it, we actually change it in the back end not at the PAP but we can do do something custom for you, PM you VFX number and I will see what I can do.

Ahh, well I guess all you'd need to do is take an ATA down there and you'd be set...
