     >new firmware rolling out this week to address. Auto install.<

Thanks for that Alan, and yes CRF731 is apparently the first of the updates.  Hmmm, I wonder if "Assistance" needs to be turned ON, or will the update just happen over-the-line anyway?

HI

I am a VF cable customer in Hataitai and have been having WIFI coverage issues at home so I am considering buying a Ubiquiti UniFi LR access point.

However as my current VF supplied Router is a NetComm Wireless N300 Wif Gigabit Router with Voice, is this Ultra Home Hub a upgrade option?

I've been using the Ultra Hub for wifi (2.4 and 5.8) for a couple of months, and find the coverage quite good around my home ... it's obviously not a commercial or campus standard, but worth talking to VF about it.

Good point - I called VF help line and spend a hour talking to multiple people () and on hold today after reading this thread with this question.

After being past from pillar to post - a lady referred me to the vodafone website and said look up fibre X.

Yeah big help that was as the website says its not available for my address and she knew my address and it didnt answer my question.

So as I saw Vodafone Mike monitor Geekzone, I thought I'd ask here

Cheers

Hi, is there a way to trigger the upgrade? in the interim of the firmware being available to download?

Have tried factory reset and powercycle etc.

Also am I right in understanding the upgrade will allow changes to the LAN addressing?

I haven't been able to make these changes stick yet, and the Admin login with @last8digit/letterssofserialnumber doesn't login.

Cheers

Andy

Most have completed now apparently - you can check under Status and Support, About. The newest ends in CRF731

That username and password is for an HG659. The UltraHubs UN/PW is on the sticker underneath.

Will have firmware available for download if you've not been updated. Should be available tomorrow.

Why would an auto-update have not been performed for a customer?
