Cybergangster: My peak speeds have been garbage. This has been going on since June! Customer Support have been no help. They insist on making their follow-up calls and speed tests during non-peak times. Frankly, I'm appalled at myself for tolerating this kind of half-baked service for so long. I pay for a 130Mb/s connection and I'm getting less than 3% during peak times, which is the only time I want to use the connection.
This wasn't always the case - I had fantastic performance before June...
Might have seen my post earlier. If not ill post below.
Please make sure this isnt tested over WiFi..
"Vodafone Cable broadband customers in specific areas are currently experiencing congestion and a reduction of their maximum speed at peak times. We have identified the cause of congestion and have scheduled upgrades to the affected areas throughout August within the next three weeks. There is no mitigation action we can put in place in the meantime as this requires a build at the exchange. Once the upgrades have occurred the customer should no longer be affected by these speed issues."
Whether this is one of them i couldnt comment. Best to PM me or NikT and we can look into.
Cheers
