morat: Nope. Bridge only. It will be supplied with an HG659.
The modem is going to be configred to behave like a UFB ONT inasmuch as it'll be emitting tagged frames (in vlan 10), rather than untagged frames, as previous cable modems have done.
Will it also be using 802.1p for quality of service (QOS)? I want to use my existing pfsence router. VLAN is stright-forward, not so sure about QOS.
Thanks for your advice!

I'd imagine they will liven it up on the website in time with some launch party at HQ.

this may be a silly question - but do you lose the Vodafone TV if you sign up to this deal?

From the 'bundle builder' you can only select vodafone sky tv now, not just the standard cable

I would be quite surprised if the website was updated today. Rarely do VF do what they say they are going to do.

But I may be wrong..

Is it a router as well?

As always I will wait for the details...with VF the devil is always in the details!!

WTF?

I use the Cisco modem connected to my own kit (apple) now and it works just fine. Now Voda going to put an HG in the way?? an extra box that serves no purpose or benefit to me?

Available on the website and for me it goes as high as 700-900Mbps, but can't be done until midday. Official launch time.

Ipv89: I still can't see anything over 10mbps

I can see the change from 50Mbp/s to 200Mbp/s for a start, Clear your cache!

And there's a + button on the side of the speed box which gives the option of "700-900Mbps".

Provided your address qualifies.
