Man it really seems that vodafone don't know what they are doing, there website has changed like 4 or 5 times now with different information on the plans etc. Now its limited time and extra data.
What about customer that already signed up for 24 mth plans are they going see any data increase ?

always seem to get the calls out from vodafone sales right before plans drop..
I'm forever telling them, nope, that plan isn't better value than your already giving me....

Would be great if they would specify what they are defining as "Limited time".
I was all ready to switch over from Spark, but all this ambiguity is putting me off.
I went to a store yesterday and they couldn't tell me either. At this stage you can assume one of two things
- That the offer to sign up for this is only available for a limited time
- That the extra data is only on offer for a limited time and will revert to 4GB after that.
I'm none the wiser as to which one it actually is and can't get clarification anywhere.
(Probably missing something simple with this, but I don't quite understand..)
I signed up on Friday (moving from Skinny Direct) and have not heard of anything nor have no way of really tracking my order it seems. Skinny Direct plan was due to renew today.
Really hoping they get it sorted tomorrow so I am not without a sim for too long!

Seems like the right hand doesn't talk to the left at Vodafone sometimes
How come you changed @michaelmurfy, just larger data allowance?

If you think it was silly question I'm on Red + Super plan for 24 months and currently it got 15 gig allocated data . New plan has 20 gigs now so I'm interest is in weither Vodafone going top up their current customer to new plan entitlements or not

The simple answer to that would very likely be no.
In your situation I wouldn't expect to get extra data - you entered into a contract and that's what you get.

I'm currently on an open term Red Lite and have been for years. I rung vodafone to ask if I'd automatically get the upgrade to 10GB and the person had no idea that the plans had changed or if I'd get the upgrade.
Then I got put through to the sales team who told me I have to cancel my existing Red Lite open term plan and start a new Red Lite open term plan in order to get the 10GB. They also said they couldn't do that for me and because any plan cancellation has to go via the retention team.
It's like pulling teeth with these companies.
It should just change over on the next bill cycle date to 10GB
Linux
Incorrect, I called Vodafone and spoke to sales and they told me customers will not be automatically upgraded and that the old plans are being retired.
