She apparently transferred me but I was given a message saying I couldn't be transferred (after another 5 minute wait) and disconnected.

 



@BLazeD The 10GB plan is not a promotion and is permanent as confirmed by VodafoneNZ here on Geekzone

Any discounts you have on the 4GB plan will be removed moving to 10GB I was lucky got in early and get it for $49.95 per month

Thanks I just called 0800 777 301 and said I wanted to get my extra data and it was done in 1 minute flat. I kept my $10 discount.

 

Very happy with this. Good job Vodafone.

 

 

They flat out refused to do that for me. :(

Sorry I don't get it. If they are not promotional then why does the small print on this page say

 

"Promotional plans available for a limited time. New data allowances are valid for the life of the plan."

My billing period just rolled over a few days ago.

 

My data cap remains at 7.5GB and has not increased at all.

Spark (not skinny) need to counter this, 40gb for $150... that is cheap, Spark’s Business plan is $250 ex gst for 20gb.

Call the retention team I have posted the 0800 number in this thread and speak to them

Edit: Also check the terms and conditions as this could of advised any existing discounts could be removed

I had to make a few calls to get it sorted but my discount has stuck. Try contacting their social media team - they're pretty good. Also, I can understand you're frustrated etc but there is no need to quote half this thread in your posts.

I got in touch with the retention team... the woman was really helpful and said that accounts with a discount weren't automatically transferred to the new terms because there was initially no way to retain the discount.  As of the last week or two they have been able to transfer accounts while retaining the original discount. I would ring them and have a chat. I had a lot of trouble with the overseas call centre staff before I was finally put through to retentions.
