Vodafone customers at Fieldays will enjoy a speed boost as the company switches on 4G - the world’s fastest mobile technology - at Mystery Creek Events Centre.

The company is also offering the chance to win a brand new Kubota RTV900 4x4, worth over $27,000 to visitors registering on its stand during the event.

Russell Stanners, CEO of Vodafone New Zealand, says the launch of a commercial 4G site at Mystery Creek is a major milestone for rural New Zealand.

"4G has captured customers’ imaginations, with over 60,000 customers now enjoying the benefits of 4G, only on Vodafone. We’re proud to be the first to bring 4G to rural New Zealanders at Fieldays."


If a permanent site, this is the first the waikato has seen of 4G coverage.
