I have bot h a Vodafone ADSL connection, and a UFB connection

I use my orcon fibre connection until the data has been reached, and then swap to Vodafone ADSL connection in which the modem is fully powered down....

However after reading another thread, with a usage query, i thought i'd check if our usage metre does the same and it has. i swapped over to that connection on the 15th of this month. as you can see thats when it peaks again....

Heres a pasted version of the usage we've used....

phantomdb: wouldent it be easer to just change the account password for the dsl service. ???
and have the login history crossrefrenced from connecting land line number.

Our modems configure themselves with credentials etc based on the account to which each serial number is linked. The line ID it is connecting from has no bearing on this, as long as a Vodafone connection is detected, the modem will use the credentials of the account it is linked to. It can be disabled if needed, eg if the customer wants to give their modem to someone else.
