I've just signed up to the unlimited Ultra fast naked broadband - cable (internet connection only).

I was asked if I wanted to include wiring maintenance, however all the information I find related to this insurance is about phone wiring and ADSL connections. Cable connections doesn't depend on internal phone wiring, sockets etc. So am I correct in saying that it's not required as the benefits seem to only apply to phone and ADSL services? Thanks in advance

Hey folks,

I've looked into this in the past, & believe it's just a side effect of the wiring maintenance product being built to work with all Red Home plans (Cable, fibre, xDSL, et cetera). If you're on naked cable, you do not need wiring maintenance, as Vodafone will replace faulty cable modems & repair faulty cable jacks free of charge.

Hope that helps. Cheers,
