Move to Vodafone from Snap/2degress (as could merge my Sky over as well and save $70 per month). Overall I am really happy but my ipad mini drops the wifi all the time from the other end of the house (ONT is in garage so just put Huawei box there as well).

 

Is anyone using a wifi repeater with the Vodafone USB Huawei box and if so what brand?

The fritz does have the ability to do it.

 

 

 

Go into the web interface. You may need advanced view so click View:standard at the bottom if it is there to change to it.

 

choose internet, account information.

 

Set it to other ISP,

 

choose external modem or router,

 

Choose share existing internet connection (IP client mode)
