My daughter used to have Voda HFC, and network comprised the usual modem - Ultrahub router etc.  The router would automatically get the required settings down the line form Voda.

She has now gone to pure fibre (still with Voda) so the old Technicolor modem is now replaced by the 'white box on the wall' 😊.  Off that network terminal we still have the Ultrahub router so as to provide wifi.

Can I presume that the ISP settings previously held by the router are now held by the INT unit?

Are you saying that those settings effectively replace the Ultrahub altogether?  No other requirements such as DNS's etc?

I've just noticed that Vodafone's own instructions say to connect the primary mesh unit to one of the Ultrahub's LAN ports (turning off it's built-in wifi first of course).

No landline to worry about.

Yup and yup, that's how we intend and how we support it, using the Decos as a router do go beyond what's supported(as they're meant to improve coverage not replace) however there is nothing stopping you from using the Decos as a router itself as long as it's configured with the above.
