If it loads at all, this takes an age, usually, nil response
http://s7.addthis.com/js/250/addthis_widget.js?pub=fooo

If you access with https
https://s7.addthis.com/js/250/addthis_widget.js?pub=fooo

It works fast and fine

If you access with hidemyass.com or similar, no problem.

If you remove the pub= then sometimes it works, but it's always SLOW.

I can only assume at this point, that the proxy farm is most likely at fault.

Sorry for such a late comment....

I noticed last year that the elements from s7.addthis.com for my sharing buttons were by far the slowest thing holding up one of my websites from loading fully.

In the end I looked at the analytics, figured that few were using it and mostly for FB & twitter so I created a couple of buttons to link to the sharer urls of these two services. Not as good as addthis, but it sure helped the speed of pageloads.

Just received an HTTP Err 101 (Proxy problems) when trying to access microsoft.com and now an empty page from the same domain.

Time to reset the farm again.
