buy a new tv? like the technician would install it via SD component correct? to my current tv, the same way the standard sky tv box's are connected?..

But four weeks down the track when I buy a HDMI capable tv will I be able to connect it via HDMI like will he leave the HDMI connection? so I can just plug it in to my new tv and ring up vodafone and hook into HD ticket, im confused help me pweety plz =)

Yep, just ask he leave the HDMI cable behind. Yu can easily plug that into a new TV later and call up for the HD ticket. :)

That's what I was looking to hear, was worried if it was intslalled on a old tv i wud run into trouble later on this month if i buy a HD tv, but great, I'll ask him to leave the hdmi cable behind.
