Hi

I need help with vodafone widget. when have 2 mobile sims under 1 account

Ok sister bought a new sim with data on and added it to her existing vodafone
web account page

now the android tablet widget wont login with the new number and same password

but will login with her existing mobile number and password

but the widget will only show the main number!

How can one get it to switch to the other numbers on the account?

or how can we add a password to the 2nd number and log the widget into it

so shows correct details

If you login to the App just using the mobile number you wish to view the details of does that work you?

You could try "NZ Phone Account" if you on Android OS. You can monitor as many SIMs as you like.. I currently monitor 5 on 3 different carriers..

shes gone home now too

via web page we logged in her existing phone mobile# and added the new mobile number (as a 2nd one) which is a data 2g plan
so can use it on tablet (eg pop out the old sim and put in this one) but the widget is logged in
as primary number still and showing stats for that not the new phone#

if try to login with the new number using the same pasword as primary (since its all under the same acct) says wrong ID /Password

if we login back to primary number.. it shows the stats for that number and has no option to
toggle to the 2nd number it can only skip through the add ons for the logged in number

maybe its a widget bug where it hasnt considered multiple numbers via the same acct login

perhaps theres a better app then my Vodafone that scrapes the whole web page and
shows it in a widget better?

I looked for that app and others on google play didnt find it.. and all seem to login to a number
and dont say if do multiple numbers on same ACCT!

but are you sure that app works.. as the 2nd phone number doesnt seem to have a password
as its all under the same account.. do you understand what I mean?

when you login under say 021 345345 it lists that number and the alternative numbers under it

liek 021 346346

each have their own plans and data stats..

of course you can login with email but the phone number works for primary

OK thanks.. I thought it was a missing option somewhere..

the widget lacks a switch to 2nd number under same account page

and the account page lacks the ability to set the password for the 2nd number to be same as primary#

either way it should work.. widget login with 2nd number and get that details

then you can login and out and switch between the numbers atleast

ideally the widget needs updating to allow a scroll between multiple numbers

I guess what most peole do is get a NEW email and create another account with the new sim

that way they get the 10 bonus which you dont get when you add a 2nd number to the same acct!

I guess I got busy and it slipped my mind and now I am on holiday for a week

No updates for the app / widget have been pushed out, You need a separate login for each number

arr OK.. so you going to enter it in a memo to remind you when back of holiday HEHE

yes login either number with the same web password would do fine

widget might need to be improved so can rotate between numbers at some point

but someone said they written another app above somewhere that can do that?
but not tried it out

since its for the sister and I dont have multiple numbers/sims as yet
