Hi All ,

The trial is now over, thanks for all the responses to the Thread and PM's there were a lot, a big thanks for the Trial customers also our thanks go to you for assisting us in testing this process.

The object of the Trial was to test all systems with all carriers and to try and highlight and identify any issues, this was achieved pretty successfully, a couple of issues were found (Glad to say none were WorldxChanges) and a couple of our processes are now being looked and reviewed based on responses recieved, so my thanks again to all that took part and gave us feedback because without constructive feedback it's pretty hard to improve service.

We now look forward to 1 April when the system goes live.

Regards
Phil Moore

Hi Phil,

For those of us waiting to port our numbers are you able to outline the process briefly? Do we have to contact Telecom / TCL / ?? to terminate our existing landline connection, or just contact World Exchange directly to handle the port for us?

Cheers,

Matt.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Hey Matt

The process was handled all by WxC for me.  They advised to ring Telecom and make sure they stopped billing me etc, which I forgot to do, however Telecom stopped charging me on the day the number was ported.

Cheers

David

Hi Matt,

No you can just contact us directly and we do the work for you, at the end you can contact Telecom to make sure they have stopped billing you, but probably not necessary more for your piece of mind.

All in all a very simple an painless process from my point if view.  and I know my setup was not quite standard so did cause WXc a few issues (The number to be ported was telecom number that was fowarded to a telstra line, but my telecom account was still open because I still have an xtra email account)  but I was very impressed with how quickly and efficantly the delt with the issues. So a big thanks to Jody and Phillip @ WXC
