So maybe a sign of the new billing system is starting to work - there is a new interface and such on the Voda site.
I get errors on some pages and login in took a couple of times so there is still bugs. Bits of the old site is still there - especially in the account information.

Whenever I attempt to Login to "Manage Account", nothing happens for ages and then IE7 times out.  If I click Refresh, I can then get into Manage Account immediately.  This happens every time without fail and the old site has had this problem for the past several years as well.

Not really a biggie, just annoying and I was hoping they might have fixed it...

Grant17 are you on a personal connection or a business connection?
I also have this issue when logging in to my account that is under a corporate account but not my personal one. I believe the more connections under the 'account' the longer it takes to load your connections details, which should speed up after the billing system upgrade.

lotech which sections aren't loading correctly for yourself? the MyVodafone (manage your account) section hasn't been updated yet so it will still look the same as the old website, except it doesn't open in a pop up box anymore (even though it was designed to, hence the close window link still there)

The biggest annoyance for me is that I can't find software downloads for data devices. I've searched high and low but I seem to be going around in circles.

Its under Plans & Services -> Laptop Connectivity -> Vodafone mobile connect -> Latest downloads.

Don't ask me where the Vodem downloads are or why its not under the 'Vodafone 3G Broadband' menu.. I'll have to look at that one.

Edit: Oh and it only seems to be on the Personal portal and not the Business portal

Thanks for your comments Cranz, it seems I am not alone in this case...

I suspect my connection is a business one, even though there is only one mobile number contained in the account.  Hence, I wouldn't have expected it to time out because there is only one mobile number to load the details from.

PM me if you want to know any further details.

However, it sounds as though this will be addressed with the upcoming billing system upgrade.  I just hope it doesn't take too much longer that's all...

Thanks for that, but the Vodem software is what I was actually looking for. I've heard a whisper that updates to the Vodem software would be available this week so perhaps there's delays in making this available on the web site, but it's hugely frustrating not to be able to find even the existing software version.
