Kristin Dunne-Powell (GM Marketing), described by The Line as "a key contributor to Vodafone's successful assault on Telecom...from 2001", has left for a position at Woosh.

So in two weeks Vodafone has lost three key execs

1. Director of Sales
2. Director of HR
3. GM Marketing

Possible reasons:

a. Coincidence (Tui's moment)
b. Walkiing the plank
c. Leaving the sinking ship?

Observation: Good people don't just leave good jobs.Surprised

And Telecom is apparently about to announce an 850GSM/UMTS build

Interesting times for the monopolistic GSM provider...

You left "d" behind: conflicts with Russell Stanners and his style?

Woosh sent out a press release saying something along the lines of "company is preparing for the boradband future". But they don't say what broadband future, they only communicate the hiring of new directors.

That was a while ago though... Kristin left last year, something like nine months ago.

Did you read the discussion? She left ages ago, not necessarily for Woosh... And welcome to Geekzone.

I see Woosh announced this as "new" news on just a week ago. Seems a bit odd if she went there months ago - perhaps they're struggling to find something worthwhile to say?

Maybe she had a trade restraint clause in her contract and left Vodafone last year but was only allowed to start at Woosh now?
