Hi all,

Early this afternoon had a door to door salesperson offering to connect me on the Vodafone network for a land line. I already have a post paid contract phone with vodafone and a sky account was wondering how long it takes to switch providers? Was thinking about also switching to a vsdl connection since it is available at my address while is still several years away for fiber to be available.  Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

Changing provider should see very little down time of the actual xDSL connection and cause you have a postpay connection on Vodafone you will also get a further monthly discount on your fixed line connection

Are you under contract term with Sky at the moment?

John

Should be a straight forward switch over then make sure you are in a VDSL coverage area,

Hi,

Easy switch, Firstly we switch to ADSL then an upgrade to VDSL after as it cant transition from another providers ADSL directly to Vodafone VDSL. So make sure your handy to configure you old ADSL modem to Vodafone settings. From there tech install filter and changed port profile.
