Hi Folks

Any comments on using vfx service over Inspire's wireless service in Palmertson North?  And number portability?
http://www.inspire.net.nz/63.html

Good, bad, indifferent?

Thanks
M

To number port in Palmie WxC needs to have a point of presence there - they do, so you should have no trouble porting a number over to VFX.

Regarding the wireless service, as long as there is sufficient up/down bandwidth and low latency VFX should work fine.

I spose the only way to find out is to try it...

Cheers

I've been using VFX on Inspire's wireless since late 2006 without any issues. Also had my telecom number ported basically as soon as I could.

I know longer pay anything to Telecom - either directly or indirectly.

Good to hear, I suspected as much.  Could you email me off list so we could talk - I've got a relative that's interested but could do with a little more confidence: mstuff AT  read DOT org DOT  nz
Thanks,
