Does anyone know how long it takes to get confirmation on whether or not VDSL is available at my address (which when calling the customer service dept last week; they said it came back as inconclusive). Was thinking that a week would have been ample time...*shrug*....maybe not. Any ideas?

Hi E3xtc, looks like the result just came back yesterday and it seems that VDSL is available at your address.

Great stuff. Thanks for the confirmation.

I don't understand why wxc won't move people other than fusion unlimited to vdsl.
If I am on a faster connection, I am more likely to take advantage of services which use more data.
If I use more data due to the plan which I am on it will mean wxc can charge for that extra data.
Both meaning wxc are in a stronger position than currently to send me a larger monthly bill.

But no. I don't want an unlimited account, and I don't want/need a new modem/router (especially one that is not supporting the newer wireless standards).

So what this means for us (a long term wxc fusion client) is looking to drop our internet connection with wxc to move to another provider. Meaning the most wxc will get from me will now be $11.50 per month.
Is that the business plan you guys are operating? It just seems weird.
