Hi There!

Just calling 888 from my mobile to chase up the static ip I ordered on my new vdsl connection, to find they don't have a callback option as they did before, 18 minutes and counting on hold.

Anyone know if they removed it recently?

Is there another method for reaching them that is responsive? Special geekzone specific email support address manned 24/7 by super clever geeks? :)

There was a planned outage with the callback system on Wednesday but it was supposed to be back up from 8 this morning.

Isnt the callback feature only used when they are under 'heavy load'?

As far i can recall, all the VF reps that hang out here aren't directly involved with fixed lines anymore... its a shame really!

From what I've been told* it's available between 8am and 9pm, calling from a mobile, and if the wait is between 5mins and 2hrs. Also not all queues have callback enabled so the type of query matters too.

*I'm a Vodafone retail staff member so I (usually) don't have to deal with the callback system at all
