I have noticed in the last couple of days that when I am on a phone call and there is a call waiting the caller id displays for the incoming call. Obviously my phone supports this feature. And I think it is a abosolutely fantastic!!!!  But has this been a vfx feature all along that I have never noticed or is it a recent addition?

Keep up the good work worldxchange!

What make / model phone are you using? I need to buy a new one and if it has that feature then all the better. Is the caller display feature on phones all the same?

I have noticed this too. An awesome feature. Seems to have only just happened. We only have a 50-50 hit rate with call waiting though. Calls get dropped on transfer most of the time. We now just ignore the call waiting and call back.

Cheers,

Matt.

I am using panasonic gigarange. A couple of cheap DECT phgones that I got from DSE. I wouldn't really recommend them as the voice quality doesn't seem that great
