Hi all,

I've just changed from Spark to Vodafone on my mobile.

Data usage seems extremely high, my phone is on wifi when I'm home and I don't check it much during the day but I've chewed up my 1GB in around 10 days. The 750MB I had on Spark lasted a lot longer and I was using it more because I didn't have broadband then.

Do the 2 companies measure usage differently?

Cheers

No, haven't changed a thing. I barely use my phone for data now, It has about 70 to 80 percent charge at the end of the day.

Can you compare the data counter to before and after, and see what is using all the extra now?

It can't be carrier related must be something on the handset using data

Trying to add more data. Website won't let me, seems to be broken. The app doesn't give me an option to at all. Not impressed with Vodafone at this stage, think I'll head back to Spark.

Have you totally run out of data? You get SMS alerts at 80% and 100% is only when you can buy more data on Postpay a URL is in this SMS You click on

You need to get use to how different carriers operate
