Well Guys and Girls,

Good way to start 2008 - XNet Fusion is avialable for order through the sales lines 0800123456, the web site should be up later today.

"Please be advised that due to constraints in our supplier's provisioning system. The initial launch will be for Xnet customers and new installations. Of course those who are interested but currently with other ISPs, you can always order broadband from Xnet and then convert to NDSL after."

I phoned at 8:00 when the help line opens, was told the sales team only starts at 8:30.  I phoned at 8:35, was told everyone is busy and will phone me back.  It's been an hour and I need to take a shower and get ready to go out, hope I do not miss out...  I fully qualify, have a stable line and VFX and just want to go naked and port my number.  Unfortunately gave them my very basic, unfeatured Telecom number to call me back on so I'm stuck to my land line until they get back to me.

Being the first day of the year (pretty much) I'm just going to wait patiently for them to call me back or even better action my request via email and let me know it's all go. I've been paying Telecom for an un-needed landline all these years another day or so isn't going to kill me (nearly though!!)

Anyone know if getting rid of my telecom line will stop me from being able to use onebill for my cellphone bill?

Yeah might be an idea to wait :S

I rang this morning just before 9am, asked to sign up was told to ring Telecom for a Customerlink number

spent round 30 minutes on the phone with Telecom dicking me round :( like usual, can't wait to leave :)

Then rang Xnet back, but I've been told to wait for a call back about it :( my phone line gets cut off by telecom in 2 hours :(
They are calling me on my cellphone but the lady said upto two days for contact back :(
This morning I was told 6-10 days wait for the nDSL, but I got a different person the second time, sounds as though she just took my contact details for calling me back :(

fingers crossed :S

So is that all I need to do Phil?

1. Customerlink the number
2. Ask Xnet to change me from the River plan to nDSL and port my number
3. wait patiently while it gets changed over and order my VFX router

2. Do you have DSL / VFX with us already ?

Your are right as well, Sales guys are taking details and phoning back as at present they are getting swamped , they were even short with me this morning when I made some chase up callsInnocent

The sales team also starts at 8am Niel. I phoned right on 8am and was talking to Sarah for about half an hour and will have Xnet fusion in 6 - 10 days

We call Telecom, Telecom or TCNZ around here.

First warning.

It will stop you from getting your homephone and cellphone on one bill as your homephone will no longer be through Telecom if you are going to get naked DSL and VFX through Xnet. You will be billed from Telecom for your cellphone and Xnet for your VFX service.

Actually, you'll most likely lose your onebill and may need to switch mobile plans. It is stated that a Telecom landline is a requirement for getting OneBill (source)

Hi Vinnie, can you remove your account number from the post please security reasons for you,

But as for the rest it should be okay the provisioning team will hopefully pick up and issues if they see anything that may cause an issue.
