Tarras cell tower upgrade to 700 4g due to be done by 10 october. Not getting any 4g signal (phone is 700 capable) so am wondering if upgrade and testing has indeed been completed.

Are you on a plan that has 4G access?

What is the phone model as well please? Has it worked for you on 700MHz in another location?

Phone 4g lte capable, I can sort any issues there later. Just want to know if the upgrade has been completed as no point signing up to a plan if the tower hasn't been upgraded. Thanks

@nodrub What does the Vodafone coverage map reflect for that area?

Map shows no coverage but it's slow to update, that's why i asked here. Simple yes or no from someone in the know would suffice.
thanks

This is really picky but 4G capable isn't the same as will work on Vodafone NZ 700MHz. Even 4G capable on 700MHz doesn't guarantee it apparently due to how the frequencies are divided. :)

The coverage maps are updated every month or so. There is a huge amount of data crunched to generate the maps on all the different layers so there is a little delay.

We sold that model, should work very well including 700MHz.
