I am having problems in getting my VFX PAP2T unit to work. The unit is a preconfigured unit and my account had been set up but unfortunately, I do not get any dial tone nor my unit will show Phone 1 nor 2 lit up. Have tried both but no luck. I had already tried 3 types of phone to connect with no luck as well. I am not anymore sure whats wrong. I called up the help desk after a long wait in the que and they told me to have it on for 20 mins then power off for 5 mins then reconnect and I should get a dial tone. Still no luck. I tried having it connected for more than 1 hour and did the power down for 5 mins and still no luck. I searched for the PAP2T user manual and had come up with the US version and for no dial tone, instruction was to type in 80# and hang up the phone for 30 mins and dial tone should come in. Still no luck, have called back help desk before 8 pm unfortunately again the long que had extended my wait till 15 past 8 pm and therefore had just left a message. I also had sent an email to the help folks hoping for a reply soon. Anybody there who can help would appreciate. My modem/router is a belkin ADSL+2 Modem with wireless G Plus MIMO Router. My connection speed is registering at 1.7Mbps download and 128kbps upload so I don't think problem is there. Let me know if anyone has any ideas on what's wrong. I will appreciate the help.
