I have a Vodafone NZ HSDPA 3G dongle. If I connect it to my laptop (LENOVO L450) while laptop is on, dongle is not getting detected. Message 'USB device not recognised' is displayed. It only gets detected if I restart laptop.

I contacted Vodafone Support, but they were also not able to help me resolve this issue.

Make sure the dongle has latest firmware and you are running latest version of VMC software
