The My Vodafone app was updated today for iOS to version 3.8, so a decent sized update but after all this time it STILL displays as an upscaled mess for those of us with a larger screen iPhone!

How hard is it to update the app so it scales properly?!

I don't know what framework the app is written in but I imagine it's something very unfriendly from 5 years ago, and it's easier to keep putting through updates than rebuild the infrastructure and change platforms.

If it were easy vodafone would have done it by now. That they haven't indicates to me a legacy system that is constrictive but not broken so no urgency to replatform and rewrite.

Hiya

I'll certainly pass on that feedback, no, it's not built on anything "unfriendly" and we're certainly tracking the growth in average screen size use for the app (Android and iOS)

I believe the chance of this happening is currently less than 1%.
