I've just tried to change the default lan ip on a brand new HG659 from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1 to match existing network settings, static printer addresses etc... Throws an error saying "invalid ip address", also logged in as Admin with password @ symbol and last 8 digits of modem serial, still got the same error.  Is this limitation by design, or am I missing something here in the new firmware?

Yeah the 192.168.2.0/24 range is reversed for its Wi-Fi guest network.

Thanks, that explains it.  Ok so i'll have to either change the modem, or spend some time reconfiguring the network and printer settings.  Unless there's a way around this?  Loading Spark firmware on the HG659?
