Being on the Vodafone Voice mailing list, I occasionally get surveys about Vodafone. Most are dull and what you would expect from any customer satisfaction survey.

However, a few days ago I completed a survey about up and coming products and services. Some of you may already know about these but for those that don't I have shared them with you below. I don't believe this to be commercially sensitive information as the VF Voice panel is open to anyone and there was nothing mentioned about confidentiality before taking part in the survey.


The new "ideas" are:

NEW IDEA: $5 Pay as you go 3G Broadband:
Casual 3G Mobile Broadband – this is broadband you can take anywhere.

Capped at $5 a day
Up to 100 MB per day

($1 per 15MB should you use more, capped at $25 per day for unlimited use)

No contracts, just pay for what you use.
If you use less than $5 a day, you pay less.

NEW IDEA: Wireless Homephone + 3G Monthly Broadband:

3G Mobile Broadband – this is broadband you can take anywhere – and Wireless Home Phone

$80 per month. Offer includes:

• A 3G Mobile Broadband plan (up to 1GB - $1 per 15MB should you use more)
• A little box you plug your home phone landline handset into, that makes it run over the over the Vodafone mobile network – you still keep your local number (eg 09 456 7891)
• Monthly cost includes unlimited calls from you home phone to local and national NZ landlines

If you’re a heavier internet user, there’s also a $100 per month option that includes up to 3GB broadband usage per month.

• A mobile phone feature that turns your mobile into a home phone as well as a mobile phone - so your mobile phone also had a local number (eg 09 456 7891). Offer includes unlimited calls from your mobile to local and national NZ landlines

If you’re a heavier internet user, there’s also a $95 per month option that includes up to 3GB broadband usage per month.
